The FDD is the disclosure a franchisor must give you before you buy, covering fees, obligations, the franchise system, financial information, and any litigation history. It is long but revealing, and we help you read it for what actually matters to your decision.
Do I really need a lawyer to review a franchise before I buy?
It is one of the best investments you can make. The agreement binds you for years, often with limited room to change it, so understanding the fees, territory, renewal, and termination terms before you sign protects you from surprises that are expensive to fix later.
Can a franchise agreement be negotiated?
Some of it. Franchisors keep core system terms uniform, but other points can sometimes move, and just as important is knowing which obligations are fixed so you go in with clear eyes. We tell you where there is room and where there is not.
What does it take to franchise my own business?
